Thank you for walking with us
This video is a thank you to all the trekkers, support crew, volunteers, supporters, and donors who made this year’s Midnight to Dawn ANZAC Service Trek unforgettable. It features a song specially created in honour of this event, footage of the trek as well as historical images of our ANZAC heroes.
Donations to trekkers can still be made for another week or so, donate or view leaderboard here.

A message from Trek2Health CEO, Bruce Barker
As the sun rose over the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in 2025, we stood together in quiet reflection, filled with immense pride — not only for what we had just completed but for what it represented.
From midnight to dawn, over 20 kilometres of city streets, trails, and bush tracks, our incredible Midnight to Dawn ANZAC Service Trek participants walked together. They walked through the night and rain, in honour of those who served, in support of those who still serve, and in memory of those we carry in our hearts.
To the trekkers: Leading and walking alongside you was an honour I will never forget. As Trek Leader and Founder of Trek2Health, I want to personally thank you for every step, every moment of focus, and for trusting our handpicked team and following instructions without hesitation. Your commitment to walking as one group—through rain, fatigue, and shared silence—was nothing short of what our ANZACs would expect from us, given the sacrifices they made so we could enjoy the freedom of our country.
This wasn’t just a trek. It was an act of remembrance and resilience. You carried that spirit with grace, respect, and strength.
To the donors: On behalf of all of us at Trek2Health and Surf Shed, thank you for standing behind our participants. Because of your generous support, they weren’t walking alone — they were walking with your encouragement in their hearts. Your donation wasn’t just a number. It was an act of kindness, a ripple of support that will now reach far beyond this single event.
Together, this year’s Midnight to Dawn ANZAC Service Trek raised over $25,000 — the highest total in the event’s five-year history. Thanks to your generosity and dedication, 25 Queensland frontline workers and veterans will now be placed into our free, evidence-based mental wellness and physical resilience programs. These are life-changing programs designed with care, compassion, and community at their core. Our impact is real and not just talk — it is deeply felt. We empower minds to change, and we never treat our program participants like just another number in the system.
Some trekkers walked because they serve or have served. Others walked in memory of someone they loved. Many walked simply because they care.
Whatever your reason for giving or trekking, know this: you made a difference.
You were part of something meaningful — something that will stay far beyond one night or one morning.
From all of us at Trek2Health and Surf Shed,
Thank you for showing up.
With deep gratitude,
Bruce Barker
