We are excited to have you join us for this meaningful event to support the physical and mental wellness of our local frontline workers and veterans. Below are the essential details and instructions for the event:

- Forecast: Partly cloudy with a 40% chance of light showers (0 to 1mm of rain). Light winds turning south to southeasterly (20–30 km/h) during the morning. Please consider bringing a light rain jacket and be prepared for cooler conditions in the morning.
Event Location:
Trek2Health Event Village, 1434 Waterworks Road, The Gap (next to Enoggera Reservoir). There is ample public parking nearby, and it’s a short 50-meter walk to the Event Village. You can also use public transport (bus route 385).
Registration & Trek Details:
- 8.5km Hill Circuit
- Registration Opens: 7:30 AM
- Trek Starts: 8:00 AM
- Estimated Duration: 2 hours
- 5.0km Hill Loop
- Registration Opens: 8:30 AM
- Trek Starts: 9:00 AM
- Estimated Duration: 1 hour
Upon arrival, please check in at the registration desk where you will receive your bib and facemask bandana. Following a safety briefing, your trek will begin.
Event Schedule:
- 7:30 AM: Event Village opens with fresh fruit, real coffee, and live music.
- 8:00 AM: Start of the 8.5km trek.
- 9:00 AM: Start of the 5.0km trek.
- 10:30 AM: Raffle and fundraising prize announcements.
- After your trek: Enjoy a BBQ and cold drinks upon your return to the Event Village.
What to Bring:
- Water: Please carry at least 1 litre of water. Support stations will provide additional hydration.
- Snacks: Bring light snacks for the trek, although fresh fruit will be available before you start.
- Footwear: Comfortable, trailed hiking shoes or boots.
- Weather-appropriate clothing: Layers for both cooler and warmer conditions, as well as rain gear.
- Personal ID: Please ensure you have identification with you at all times.
Safety Information:
- Support teams and medics will be stationed throughout the trek route, and 4×4 vehicles will be patrolling in case of any emergencies. If you need assistance, please call 0401 713 039.
- If the weather conditions change drastically or if an emergency arises, we will inform you of any adjustments to the event schedule or route.
