Message from our event sponsor – Telstra
Scott Mullaly, Regional Engagement Manager
With so many feeling reluctant to speak up, being open about loneliness will help those who cannot raise the issue. It could be affecting your brother, neighbour or workmate and you may never know. That’s why we want to challenge the preconceptions about who might be lonely and to encourage Australians to find a sense of connection through sharing experiences.
The past couple of years have left many of us feeling burnt out and disconnected. Some of the most impacted members of our community are our first responders and front line teams, those who have been at the face of the pandemic.
In support of the health and well-being of these members of the community Telstra are “connecting via nature” to help support Trek2Health who are tackling metal health issues in a new light, building Resilience via Earth.

Telstra Trek
We warmly invite the Telstra community and the general public to join us for an unforgettable morning of nature trekking at the Enoggera Reservoir, The Gap, Brisbane.
Telstra Trek consists of an exhilarating 8.5km walk on wide fire trails, around the picturesque Enoggera Reservoir and will take approximately 2 hours. This outstanding Trek offers a few short, sharp hills along the way to boost your resilience, as you enjoy some of Brisbane’s best bush landscape – tranquil eucalypt forest and lake views.
Our experienced support staff – who have operated in these D’Aguilar ranges for over 15 years – will be onsite to offer their support at several stations throughout the trek, should you need water or assistance. Participants can also request support between these stations, as we have a team of Medical professionals roaming the route in 4×4 vehicles.
