Important details for Sunday’s Red Run Day
We’re excited to see you this Sunday, November 10th, as we come together to walk, jog, or run in honour of Remembrance Day. This event is an opportunity to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women who served our country, all while supporting a worthy cause. Funds raised from this event provide stigma-free mental wellness support services for Queensland Veterans and Frontline personnel via Trek2Health. We appreciate your dedication and look forward to sharing this meaningful day with you!
Event Summary
Date & Time:
Sunday, 10th November 2024
- Registration: 6:30 – 7:15 AM at the Trek2Health Headquarters event lawn (Enoggera Reservoir, The Gap).
- Welcome Ceremony: 7:30 AM, followed by the 8.5 km course.
Fundraising Goal and your rewards:
The event has a fundraising goal of $50 for each participant. Funds raised support mental wellness services for Queensland veterans and frontline personnel, via Trek2Health, so thank you for your contributions. All participants will receive a race bib, a Red Run medal, and a Trek2Health bandana. After the event we’ll have a coffee cart and complimentary BBQ courtesy of Ashgrove The Gap Lions Club. Top Fundraisers’ (if you’ve raised $100 or over) please collect your rewards at the end of the trek.

- Primary Parking: The Gap BCC Bus Park ‘n’ Ride. From this lot, it’s a short 40-metre walk to Trek House.
- Additional Parking: Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre, approximately a 100-meter walk from Trek House.
- Public Transport: Bus route 385, with the final stop at The Gap Park ‘n’ Ride, Enoggera Reservoir.

- Temperature: Min 23°C, Max 31°C
- Conditions: Partly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Potential for a thunderstorm. Winds will be light in the morning, becoming northeasterly at 15-25 km/h during the day.
Course Details:
The 8.5 km course includes some hilly terrain, with drink stations every 4-5 km and support staff positioned along the route to assist you as needed.

Sunday 3rd November Update:
Red Run 2024 is just one week away! We’re thrilled to have you join us on Sunday, November 10th, for an inspiring day honouring our veterans and frontline personnel.
If you haven’t reached the $50 fundraising goal yet, could you please email us to let us know that can make it to the event, so we can organise catering effectively.
If you have already reached or exceeded the $50 goal, thank you so much! We will assume you can make it. If not, please email us to let us know.
Fundraising pages will be open for a couple of weeks after the event, in case you need to collect pledges. But you need to reach the targets by the start of the event in order to earn rewards, that you can collect after the trek. After the event we’ll have a coffee cart and complimentary BBQ courtesy of Ashgrove The Gap Lions Club. Please don’t bring any cash donations on the day, our support crew and volunteers will be busy looking after you on the track! All donations can be made to your online fundraising page please.
