Bruce Barker, CEO and Operations
Our CEO and Operations Director, Bruce Barker, has an illustrious career having worked across marketing, travel, adventure, tourism and not-for-profit. With 16 years in the Airline Industry, six years with Mincom, and 15 years in the Hotel/Resort Industry, Bruce had a well-rounded repertoire of operations, risk management, project and event management skills.
He was motivated to start the organisation after witnessing the challenges experienced by close colleagues who experienced low resilience from stressful job-related work.
Bruce has witnessed on several occasions these colleagues once committed to trek orientated goals return with higher levels of self-resilience. Bruce is constantly impressed by the sacrifices made by Veterans and Emergencies services. He is committed to leading his team to deliver a module-based program and is striving each day to deliver professional affordable resilience programs for those who support us every day.
Maddi Tilbury, Marketing and Social Media Coordinator
Maddi Tilbury is a creative and business-savvy marketing student with progressive experience in social media and marketing to various local Brisbane businesses. She studies a double degree in Marketing and Media and Communications at QUT while volunteering her time as Marketing Director at Enactus QUT.
Her experience ranges from creating strategies, controlling social media platforms, managing websites, photography, email marketing and creating designs for each platform.
