52 Peaks co-founders Paul and Annica

The 52 Peaks Challenge is all about inspiring people to get outside, explore nature, push their limits, and connect with others through adventure. Participants climb mountains and hike trails across Australia and New Zealand – not as elite athletes, but as everyday people seeking fun, friendship and personal growth. Along the way they summit peaks, celebrate “summit salutes,” and build a supportive community around shared experiences in nature. Visit The 52 Peaks Challenge website to learn more.

That spirit of challenge, community and connection is exactly why 52 Peaks Co-founders Paul and Annica felt Trek2Health was such a strong fit for their community. 52 Peaks helps people discover what’s possible through movement in nature and shared adventure.

Trek2Health shares that philosophy – combining physical challenge, time on Country and genuine human connection to support people’s mental and physical wellbeing.

To turn that shared ethos into practical support, 52 Peaks has created the “52 Peaks Community Fundraiser for Trek2Health”. The 52 Peaks community can show their support by donating via this fundraising page, with all donations going directly to Trek2Health to support our work with frontline personnel and veterans.

Every donation helps Trek2Health provide innovative nature-based trekking therapy for frontline personnel and veterans – giving them space to reset, reconnect and rebuild resilience in the bush.

About Trek2Health

Trek2Health is grounded in clear and growing evidence that movement is powerful medicine for mental health. Exercise – whether it’s walking up a hill, carrying a pack, or simply moving with purpose – can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. But what makes Trek2Health different is that we offer more than just exercise.

Our free, team-based “green exercise” treks and resilience-building programs give veterans, frontline workers and first responders the opportunity to reconnect with nature, with each other, and with themselves. Our programs help restore what many people have lost: a sense of purpose, connection and confidence. This is not just fitness. It’s about rebuilding lives through meaningful action.

We’re deeply grateful to Paul and Annica, and to the entire 52 Peaks community, for choosing to support Trek2Health through the 52 Peaks Community Fundraiser for Trek2Health.

Thank you for helping our community rise and thrive.
